Scott Willenborg
The Allen Tellinghuisen Memorial Jeeper of the Year award for 2004 was presented to Scott Willenborg at Just Jeeps annual Christmas Bash, Dec 11th, 2004. The Jeeper of the Year Committee, Jeff Stuttle, Bill Oldenburg, and Darrel Swenson, gathered nominations from club members. With the help of Clint Hoffmeister, a plaque was created for Scott.
President Darrel Swenson, presented the award to Scott and also read a few of the comments from the nominations they received for Scott.
 | "I would like to nominate the guy who goes on every run, he does a great job with new people and has a lot of experience wheeling...." "... plus you can always count on him for good comic relief. Just an all around good guy, willing to help or give his jeeper expertise to anyone who asks." |
| "I think he fits the description well. He has gone out of his way to make me and my wife feel welcome since joining a few months back. ...Everyone in the group has been awesome, but he has stood out in my opinion." |
| "He has always shown enthusiasm for the club and it's activities and his offbeat sense of humor has always made any event that we have attended memorable." |
| "He is a pain in the butt, but I think he is an all around good jeeper!!" |
| And finally someone jokingly pointed out: "It's going to make his ego so big he'll have to run without a top..." |
